Brief Biography:
Ying-Khai Teh received the B.Eng. (Hons) Electronics with First Class Honours and the Master of Engineering Science (by Research) degrees from the Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2005 and 2009 respectively.

In 2005, he joined the Multimedia University where he was first appointed as a Tutor. He is now a Researcher in the Centre for Advanced Devices and Systems (CADS) and also a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering. His master research project was to design UHF RFID-compatible analogue front end circuit blocks using dynamic threshold transistors derived from a standard 0.18µm CMOS technology. The research was done in the RFID-MEMS research group led by Dr Faisal Mohd Yasin. Before embarking on his academic career, he was with the Intel Penang Design Centre, Circuit Engineering Department as an intern, in charged of electrical validation of the Intel ICH6 and ICH7 southbridge chipsets.

In 2008, he was awarded the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship, funded by the Government of Canada,Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Under the Graduate Students' Exchange Program (GSEP 2007), he joined
Dr Robert Sobot's research group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Western Ontario (UWO), London, Ontario, Canada as a Visiting Research Student for both Winter and Summer terms. The trans-pacific research collaboration continues after the exchange programme. In 2009, he won the IEEE ASICON 2009 Excellent Student Paper Award.
